Getting started

Plug the sealer in. The 5 lights come on one after another, then the “Stop” light stays on: the sealer is ready.
Put the food in the bag and leave at least 5 cm free up to the opening. The edge must be clean and dry.
Place the open end of the bag in the vacuum chamber, over the foam gasket, then close the lid and press both ends until you hear a click.
Press “Dry” for dry food or “Moist” for moist food such as meat or fish. The sealer vacuums and seals automatically.
When the “Stop” light stays on, the cycle is finished and you can open the lid.
Between two seals, let the sealer cool for 25 seconds.

The sealer doesn't draw air out of the bag

Check that the lid is locked on both sides and that the bag opening is fully inside the vacuum chamber. While vacuuming, press the centre of the lid.

The bag doesn't seal

The bag opening must be dry and free of creases, and the lid closed properly. If the foam gasket is flattened, turn it over or replace it.

The lights flash and the sealer won't start

Overheat protection is on. Unplug the sealer and let it cool for about 30 minutes.

The light flashes 10 times and the sealer stops

No vacuum formed within about 55 seconds: the bag isn't placed correctly or has a hole. Reposition the bag and try again.

White dots appear in the bag with moist food

That's normal. The embossed pattern of the bag forms channels that let air and water out.

Slight smoke or smell during the first uses

Normal at first; it goes away after a few uses.

Unplug before cleaning. Wipe the housing with a soft cloth and any liquid in the vacuum chamber with a paper towel.
Don't immerse the sealer in water and don't use corrosive cleaners.
Don't store the sealer with the lid locked: the foam gasket gets compressed and stops sealing.
Wrap sharp-edged items (bones, dry pasta) in a napkin so they don't puncture the bag.
