- Pull out as much as you need: the length of the food plus about 7.5 cm for sealing.
- Cut straight and seal one end without vacuum (the “Seal” or “Manual Seal” button).
- Put the food in the bag and leave at least 5 cm free up to the opening.
- Vacuum and seal as usual. For long storage, add a second seal line.
Common problems
Do they fit my sealer?
Yes, any vacuum sealer with a sealing bar, including all FLERO sealers. The roll must be narrower than the sealer's sealing bar.
Can I reuse a bag?
Yes. Cut below the seal, wash it and dry it well. The bag gets a little shorter each time.
The bag loses its vacuum after a few days
Check the seal: it must be continuous and free of creases. Bones and sharp edges can puncture the film; wrap them in a napkin.
Can I heat food in the bag in the microwave?
Only after you've pierced the bag.
Care
- Store the rolls somewhere dry, away from heat and sunlight.
- Clean leafy vegetables before sealing, or they release gas in the bag.
- Vacuum sealing doesn't replace refrigeration: keep perishable food in the fridge or freezer.
